Alex was born with the ability to see ghosts. This went pretty poorly as a child as absolutely nobody believed her and instead she just became the angry girl that was always acting out. This led to a self-fulfilling prophecy where she decided she'd just become what people thought she was. Angry. Using drugs as a crutch to hide from the ghosts. Caught up in the wrong crowd. All until the day that Ground Zero happened and her best friend, and every other person in the building with her, ended up dead. Mysteriously. Then Yale came knocking and offered her a clean slate if she just joined Lethe and helped their Secret Societies that are definitely only kind of evil. Then she accidentally sent her mentor to hell, discovered seeing ghosts wasn't the limit of her abilities, and decided to recruit 3 other murderers to go on a journey to hell to save her mentor. All normal things to do, right?

First impressions.
Visual. She's got tattoos on her arms and collarbones that include: black rattlesnakes on the collar bones that trace down, a peony, the Wheel on her elbow, two koi on her biceps, a skeleton on her forearm, and matching snakes on her hips to match the ones on her collarbones. Most of the time she has these magically hidden though.
Powers.Can see, hear, and interact with ghosts. Can take all the memories from ghosts. Can absorb ghosts to amplify her strength, durability, agility, speed, and magical powers. Can call on spirits to fight for her. Can resist magical compulsion. Can summon blue fire that can burn through anything and can create doors.
Demeanor.Described as a cannonball, Alex does nothing halfway. She gets an idea, decides to do something, and she does it. She's usually fully aware of how bad her plans are, she just doesn't care. She holds herself like a snake coiled and ready to strike at any and everything out there.

Availability. CST, usually at night/early morning. Try to get to a tag a day or every few days. Can boomerang text tags.
permissions.
cross-canon, assumed cr, cross-medium, ocs. Yes please to everything! Absolutely good with assuming things, fine with playing out meetings, or great with starting off with a misfire and going from there. Any sort of canon is absolutely loved by me, I love getting to know canons I don't know via CR!
shipping. Open to absolutely anything as long as there's chemistry there! She is stupidly prickly though and doesn't think she deserves good things and has a bad habit of trying to self sabotage anything good. Also super happy for gen things and just friends in general.
